Our 9 Step Easy Build Process

Step 1. Consultation
Meet with our team and discuss all your ideas and dreams for your new home along with your budget. We will also go over a factory order / wish list to develop a specification for your project.

Step 2. Architect / Draftsman Concept
Our architect / draftsman will design an initial concept plan of your dream home which will include plan elevations and a site plan.

Step 3. Final Concept Plan
& Estimate Meeting

Minor changes are made and an estimate cost for the build is calculated.

Step 4. Preparation of Contract
When you are happy & have approved your concept plans & costings, a contract is prepared for your consideration.
A small deposit is required to cover resource consents (where applicable), geotech, and engineering costs.

Step 5. Contract & Final Drawings Signed
Contract is signed, deposit paid, site levels are confirmed for final working drawings and consent application.

Step 6. Building Consent
Now your plans are ready to go into Council for Building Consent (Orders are sent out to ensure price protection), and we can lock in the price.

Step 7. Construction
Your Building Consent is out and we are ready to make a start building your dream home! Whilst your new home is under construction we will give you regular updates throughout the build.

Step 8. Hand Over
It is time to hand over your keys to your much anticipated dream home. Once the final inspection and C.O.C has been issued along with final payment, it is time for you and your family to move on in!

Step 9. Master Builders Guarantee & 90 Day Maintenance
Trendsetter Homes has a 90 day inspection and of course your Master Builders Guarantee is set in place for 10 years from the date you move in, and transferable should you move on.
